At SKIV, our roots are deeply embedded in a love for design and sustainability. Founded by a group of TUDelft designers led by Mees van de Burgt, our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea. Mees, who had always had a passion for woodworking alongside his industrial design studies, envisioned a way to repurpose wood from old furniture into new, beautifully crafted pieces. This idea sparked a transformation from a materials-focused initiative to what is now a flourishing furniture company.
